Tape data recovery services - 0800 072 3282
Tape backup systems have been around almost as long as computers and are the preferred backup system to all others. The problems encountered with tape systems, is that when you need to restore your data, you find that the backup software no longer recognises the tape, or it has been partially overwritten with data, the backup set simply can not be found on the tape, or the tape may have developed faulty blocks
We are able to recover data from tape from the following tape formats.
- DAT, DDS, DLT, SDLT, AIT, ADR, LTO, Ultrium, Travan and QIC tapes.
Our software developers have written software to extract as much data as possible from tapes, even working around bad blocks to recover as much data possible.
We are able to recover data written to tape using the following software.
- All windows backup software
- Backup Exec
- Arcserve
- Most UNIX based tape backup software - contact us for information.
We are also able to recover directly from backup files stored on other media such as the bkf files that can be created with Windows Backup. Because we develop our own software, we are able to recover the maximum amount of data that is possible from the tape or bkf files as we are able to modify the software according to the information we find
