Data Recovery from Western Digital Hard Disk Marvell Sadle-G6 and Dragonfly Series of Hard Drives
|
Update: 28 October 2011 We are getting a number of these disks in for data recovery where the drive hangs the computer. No peculiar noises are heard but the computer simply refuses to start. We have traced the problem to the firmware of the hard disk and are now able to fully recover data from drives suffering with this problem. |
When using an external Western Digital Hard disk containing a drive with this problem, the drive may take a long time to initialise and will present a folder structure. When attempting to copy the data from the drive, it will not copy and often freezes the computer.
Please contact us for data recovery from drives with this specific problem. If you drive is showing other symptoms such as clicking or is completely dead, these are a different problem but still should be recoverable.
