RAID 1 Data Recovery - 0800 072 3282

MjM Data Recovery LimitedBecause RAID 1 systems have two disks, each being an identical copy of the other, data recovery means that we only need to get one of the drives working in order to complete the data recovery. This means there is a better than 98 percent chance of recovery. RAID 1 arrays consist of two hard drives configured to read and write blocks of data - typically 64 kb. This is done for a reason so that when data is being read from a RAID 1 system, it is as fast as RAID 0 because the data is read in blocks. For data recovery purposes the blocks are not necessary to calculate as full access to all the data is achieved. |
RAID 1
RAID 1 is used where critical processes are run, for example Web servers, Server operating systems, etc. If one drive fails, then the other drive takes control and there is no downtime. Removal and replacement of the failed hard disk should rebuild the array whilst the systems are still live.
We are able to recover data from all major operating systems including;
- Windows NT Server, Windows 2000 Server, Windows 2003 Server, Windows 2008 Server
- Windows Small Business Server (SBS) - All versions.
- Windows Exchange Server - All versions.
- Windows SQL Server - All versions.
- MAC OS X Serve
- UNIX Servers
- Linux Servers
