MjM Data Recovery Limited Successful data recovery from RAID 0 arrays requires the block size and drive order are calculated accurately in order to recover the data with guaranteed consistency. RAID 0 arrays consist of at least two hard drives configured to read and write stripes of data across the disks in blocks - typically 64 kb. We have developed our own raid recovery software that performs these calculations very quickly, even in systems with a large number of drives it only takes a few seconds for us to calculate these critical structures that makes the difference between a good data recovery or corrupt data.

RAID 0

RAID 0 is used where fast data access is critical, for example, video streaming or music editing. Backup of RAID 0 is vital for data integrity as if one drive has failed in a RAID 0 array, then access to all the data is lost. Many systems use RAID 0 for 'scratch' work then store the final data to a safe media for storage and archiving.
